Protecta Steel Paint FR-1
Protecta® Steel Paint FR-1 is a water-based paint, used for up to 60 minutes fire protection of loadbearing structural steel, that normally requires no primer, no top coat, is easy to use and very easy to clean up.
Steel Paint FR-1 can be applied by spray, brush or roller. It is durable, robust, designed to last and can be cleaned with a damp cloth without the risk of washing off the paint.
There is a choice of colours (see attached colour chart) and FR-1 may be used externally and in constant humid areas with a suitable top coat. It is non-toxic and emission free with negligible VOC.
