If you're looking for an intumescent sealant, acoustic sealant (or both) then PROTECTA FR ASF Acoustic Intumescent Sealant is the answer. This top quality firestopping mastic sealant is emulsion acrylic based and gives a firm yet flexible seal to joints in a variety of fire rated structures. It won't support combustion and when subjected to heat, chars and intumesces preventing the spread of smoke and fire through the joint. Designed for sealing joints, voids or irregular holes in fire walls, floors and partitions.
