Protecta FR IPT Sealant

Protecta FR IPT is a high-performance, fire-rated, professional-quality, one-part sealant and adhesive, ready to use straight from the container. Assessed to AS1530.4-2014 and AS4072.1-2005, it offers an acoustic rating of STC 62 and forms an airtight and watertight seal.

Featuring a superior seismic rating, Protecta FR IPT delivers exceptional tensile elongation of 270% (3D tensile elongation of 106%), making it ideal for applications requiring durable flexibility. It also boasts the lowest VOC emissions in its class, prioritizing worker safety without compromising performance.

Based on innovative Inert Polymer Technology, Protecta FR IPT is suitable for a wide variety of building trade applications, including fire protection, decorating, flooring, glazing, joinery, plumbing, roofing, and tiling. It outperforms conventional silicone, MSP, butyl, and acrylic-based sealants and adhesives.

Protecta FR IPT remains permanently flexible and can be painted with both alkyd resin and water-based paints, ensuring seamless integration into any finish.
