Marine, Offshore & Heavy Industrial Fire Protection
Shanghai Huoke New Material Co., Ltd (HUOKE) specialises in the research and development, production and sale of fire-resistant sealing solutions for ships and offshore platforms. The HUOKE range is offered by Firestop Centre for marine, offshore and selected heavy industrial applications.
Firestop Centre holds the distribution rights for HUOKE products throughout New Zealand and Australia, providing access to the HUOKE range across both markets.
HUOKE's product range includes systems for Class B, A and H fire-rated divisions, incorporating intumescent firestop sealants, firestop sleeves, fireproof putties and marine fireproof blankets. Systems are available for cable and pipe penetrations through steel and aluminium bulkheads and decks.
The systems are designed for demanding marine and offshore environments, with the HUOKE product manual detailing applications including ships, offshore drilling platforms, FPSOs and liquefied gas carriers.
Testing & Certification
HUOKE has conducted fire testing of its Class B, A and H cable and pipe penetration systems in accordance with the IMO 2010 FTP Code, with testing undertaken at the Shanghai Far East Fire Testing Center, Sichuan Fire Research Institute of MEM (SCFRI), and Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute.
HUOKE's HK series products have obtained certifications from seven marine classification societies, including CCS, DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register (LR), Bureau Veritas (BV), RINA and ClassNK (NK).
HUOKE's production and testing processes are also governed by ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems.

Applicable HUOKE systems also provide water and air tightness, supporting the requirements of cable and pipe penetrations in demanding marine and offshore environments.
